Influences: Dave Mustaine/Marty Friedman (Megadeth), Alex Lifeson (Rush), Scott Ian (Anthrax)
Being in a band is all I've wanted to do since I was 13, and it is all I will ever want to do.
I grew up in Newburgh, NY. I started playing guitar at 12 years old, but didn't take it seriously until the following year when I saw Megadeth live, my first major concert. It was in Scranton, PA, on June 1st, 2012. My life has never been the same since. From the moment I saw Megadeth take the stage, I knew I had to be in a band, and that nothing would stop me. I began relentlessly practicing my instrument for hours a day, barely coming out of my room. There weren't many kids in my area that were around my age and interested in playing an instrument, and even less that shared the same love of heavy metal. Writing songs was (and still is) what I am most passionate about, and I had all of these ideas for songs to record, but no one to record them with. So, I taught myself to play the drums and bass so I could record them myself. Those demos were how I honed my songwriting skills, just writing one terrible song after another, until eventually they became a little less awful. Towards the end of high school, I was able to get a bunch of experience playing different gigs around the state. After high school, I enrolled at the College of Saint Rose in the Music Industry program. That is where I met Paul and Ryan, followed by Jake and Jason. It is also where my story ends and Last To Fall Begins…
